Responsibilities:

• Address external / internal emails.
• Work with Lumpers on scheduled loads to make sure they are working on the correct load.
• Understand how to read a Health Certificate for case counts and shipping marks.
• Complete Case Counts once lumpers are done
• Present imports to Inspector & complete any samples or physical inspections needed.
• Take pictures of damage for customers.
• Create paperwork for all damage that need to be disposed of.
• Answer phones calls
• Interacting with USDA inspectors
• Work with the Shipping department to ensure all imports are shipped correctly.

The above list of Responsibilities is not the only responsibilities that a documentation specialist is required to do.
