Job Description
Our company is seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented professional who can work part time and has a flexible, time managed schedule. This is an independent contractor position. The main purpose of this job will be to inspect residential and commercial properties in the Hempstead and surrounding area. The surveyor will assess risks at the sites, take photos, create reports which will be on a computer. The ideal candidate will have capability to travel and use their phone or digital camera for on-site photos to upload on forms using the company templates. The details of the job include reviewing the survey assignment for what is needed for inspection, calling insured to setup inspection, travel to the confirmed property site, take interior and/ or exterior photos of the property, complete then email a short form on the computer to supervisor. The inspections are done for insurance purposes only and time sensitive. This is perfect for someone who has experience in contracting, property management, inspections, real estate and the insurance field.. The pay starts at $60 for interior inspections and is dependent on the type of inspection you are assigned. Workload may fluctuate. You would need a cell phone with a digital camera or smartphone, reliable transportation and a computer. Basic training will be by phone call/email. There will be regular follow ups with supervisor and any questions or concerns directed to supervisor for assistance case by case basis.
