Senior Personal Lines Bodily Injury Claims Professional Bring your expertise to complex, high-exposure Personal Lines Bodily Injury claims where sound judgment, strategic thinking, and strong negotiation skills make a difference. In this role, you'll manage sophisticated First
  • and Third-Party Bodily Injury claims, partnering with internal teams, defense counsel, vendors, and other experts to develop claim strategy and drive thoughtful, effective resolutions. Responsibilities Complex Claim Investigation
  • Conduct thorough coverage, liability, and injury investigations, obtain statements, and evaluate the facts needed to reach timely, well-informed claim decisions. Coverage & Policy Analysis
  • Analyze complex Personal Lines policies and coverage issues, including Primary and Excess matters, and apply sound judgment to claim strategy. Field & Vendor Management
  • Direct field investigations and collaborate with Field, Counsel, Surveillance, and other vendors to develop the information needed for effective claim resolution. Reserve & Financial Management
  • Maintain accurate, timely reserves and continually evaluate financial exposure as claim circumstances evolve. Litigation & Fraud Strategy
  • Partner with defense counsel to develop and execute litigation strategies while collaborating with SIU to identify and address potential fraud. Negotiation & Resolution
  • Resolve claims through informed, merit-based negotiations with injured parties and their attorneys, balancing appropriate outcomes with effective loss management. Arbitration, Mediation & Trial
  • Represent Plymouth Rock in arbitrations, depositions, mediations, and trials as required. Technical Expertise & Leadership
  • Stay current on industry developments, contribute to training and knowledge-sharing, and support team initiatives and continuous improvement. Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or in lieu of 5 years BI experience. Experience
  • 3-5 years of Personal Lines Bodily Injury claims experience, with experience handling complex liability claims preferred. Experience with UM/UIM, Excess, or Umbrella claims is a plus. Claims Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of litigation, arbitration, mediation, and trial procedures, with experience handling claims across multiple states. State Experience
  • Experience handling claims in Massachusetts and New Hampshire is preferred. Massachusetts will be the primary handling state, with additional states as business needs require. Analytical & Decision-Making Skills
  • Strong coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Communication & Organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with policyholders, attorneys, vendors, and internal partners. Regulatory Knowledge
  • Thorough understanding of applicable state laws, regulatory guidelines, and statutory requirements.

  • $118,000 annually.
