Position Summary The Claims Service Specialist overall objective is to process non-complex, non-technical claims related activities directed by Claims Manager. You will handle every step from data entry, to filing reports and mail support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Open and distribute daily mail and faxes and distribute and route accordingly. Claims entry. Medical release and medical records requests and follow up. File appeals, request for suspensions. Pull medical records electronically for independent medical exams.
