We are looking to bolster our current roster for the busy season, vacation coverages, medical leaves, etc of our current in-house adjusters. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating, analyzing, and resolving property claims related to various insurance policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of applicable software (Symbility, Xactimate, optional FileTrac claims management system), and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and fairly while adhering to relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities Investigate insurance claims by gathering information from claimants, and other relevant parties. Analyze claims data to determine the validity of claims and assess potential liability. Negotiate settlements with claimants while maintaining compliance with company policies, carrier policies and legal standards. Implement fraud prevention detection measures to identify suspicious claims activity. Maintain organized records of all claims activities and communications for future reference. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Experience Proven experience as a Property Claims Adjuster is required. (2+years experience) Familiarity with the applicable software (Xactimate, Symbility, optional: FileTrac) Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex information effectively. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple claims simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive relationships with claimants and clients. Experience in customer service roles that emphasize communication and problem-solving skills is advantageous.
