Responsibilities Proven experience in insurance claims adjusting, particularly in Bodily Injury Liability or related fields such as personal injury or auto insurance. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of reaching equitable resolutions efficiently. Excellent communication skills—bilingual abilities are a plus—to effectively serve diverse client populations. Familiarity with sales administration, telemarketing techniques, or outside sales is advantageous for engaging clients proactively. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret medical reports, legal documents, and policy language accurately. Knowledge of insurance sales processes and benefits administration is beneficial for understanding client needs comprehensively. Experience working in customer service environments where clear communication and problem-solving are essential. Investigate and assess bodily injury liability claims by reviewing reports, medical records, and auto accident details to determine coverage and liability. Communicate effectively with claimants, healthcare providers, legal representatives, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information. Negotiate settlements that are fair to both the insured and the claimant while adhering to company guidelines and industry regulations. Document all claim activities thoroughly within the claims management system, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with legal teams or external experts when complex cases require additional analysis or legal review. Analyze claim trends and data to identify potential fraud or patterns that could impact future claims processing. Provide excellent customer service by guiding claimants through the process with clarity, empathy, and professionalism. Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-8 years claims handling experience with a focus on Bodily Injury files
- Strong Knowledge of the NY market
- Proven knowledge of Claims Best Practices
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Developed customer service skills
Pay:
