The opportunity We currently have an opportunity for a Claim Operations Supervisor to join our Claim Operations team based in our Canton, MA or Denver, CO office on a hybrid schedule. This position is responsible for the supervision of Claim operations department within the company. Accountable for setting and achieving the department goals/objectives relating to workflow, customer service, and quality to be in line with corporate goals/objectives. Provides exceptional service to internal and external customers, in leading implementation and performance of effective claim operation and clerical processes. Some of the Claim Operations Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervise and lead a team of claim operations staff, prioritizing and assigning work, providing guidance, training and support to ensure high performance and productivity. Oversees day-to day operations of the teams' activities including workload distribution of new claims, prioritization, reporting, and monitoring performance. Ensures timely and accurate processing of loss and expense payments adhering to company policies, industry regulations, and service level agreements. Review and approve complex or escalated issues, resolving issues and ensuring compliance with established guidelines. Collaborate with other departments, to streamline processes, resolve customer inquiries, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any training or development needs of the team. Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices related to claim processing, and ensure compliance within the department. Anticipates and meets all customer needs (internal and external). Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement. The expertise you bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. 3-5 years of related experience, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience required. Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires; however, your recruiter will provide more specific compensation details during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $69,000 - $97,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $87,000 - $101,000.
