Who You Are:
You are an organized and detail-oriented person. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with insurance professionals, risk managers, and outside counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Professional and General Liability (PL & GL) insurance claims , focused on intake and triage. Review and process incident reports and facilitate First Notice of Loss (FNOL) triage . Collect, analyze, and organize records, pleadings, and case documents for ongoing litigation. Communicate with claims and risk management personnel, outside counsel, insurance brokers, and claims professionals daily. Assist in coordinating investigations with outside vendors and legal teams. Monitor, track, and ensure timely follow-ups on insurance-related matters. Summarize legal documents, pleadings, and deposition transcripts. Provide support for claim reviews, case strategy meetings, and litigation planning .
What You Bring:
Claims experience in medical malpractice, healthcare litigation, or insurance defense. Strong organization and multitasking skills. Excellent communication skills with diverse professionals. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and AI powered platforms. Detail-oriented documentation skills and ability to track complex case information. $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
