Claims Team Specialist Company Overview:
We are a fast-growing Third Party Administrator (TPA) specializing in tax-advantaged benefit plans such as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), COBRA, and Individual Contribution HRAs (ICHRAs). Our mission is to help employers and participants maximize their benefits with confidence, clarity, and compliance.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Claims Team Specialist to join our dynamic and detail-focused team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day plan administration of pre-tax benefit plans for an assigned group of clients. This high volume, fast paced position requires strong multi-tasking and organizational skills and includes validation of claims and process reimbursements, status changes, enrollments, responding to client and participant inquiries and implementation of plan set-ups/changes.
Responsibilities:
Provide a high level of professional service to our clients and benefit plan participants. Responsible for day-to-day plan administration of pre-tax benefit plans for assigned group of clients. Includes validation of claims and process reimbursements, plan changes, status changes, enrollments, responding to client and participant inquiries, plan set-up in administration software and implementing plan changes. Effective regular communication with clients via phone and email regarding plan changes, claims processing, updates, questions, etc. Generate reports and audit accuracy of information. Collaborate with all company departments to ensure client requests are met and a high level of service is consistently provided.
Qualifications:
Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service. Previous experience in claims processing, payroll, banking or insurance environment is desired. Minimum of two years of experience in a professional work environment working directly with clients/customers. Possess excellent organizational, detail orientation, follow-through, analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong multi-tasking abilities when working through changes and a proactive solutions Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated professionalism. Able to effectively work with personnel of varied skill levels and work through challenging situations efficiently. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel) Able to handle information confidentially.
Job Type:
Full-time Schedule:
Monday to Friday Flexible start time (8:00 or 8:30 a.m.) Onsite/hybrid (Fulltime in office for six months with successful completion of training program. Role then transitions to hybrid with one day remote and four in office)
