About The Role Full Spectrum Environmental is looking to hire and train an entry-level Environmental Inspector & Report Writer. No prior licensing or certification is required to apply. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, attention to detail, and communication skills who wants to build a career in mold, water damage, and lead inspection. We provide hands-on field training and will invest in getting you licensed and certified in mold assessment and lead inspection/risk assessment. This role combines on-site inspection work with report writing, so you'll need to be comfortable both in the field (attics, crawlspaces, and other tight or non-climate-controlled spaces) and at a desk, translating what you found into a clear, professional report. What You'll Be Doing Learning to conduct mold assessments, water damage evaluations, lead-based paint/dust inspections, environmental site assessments, and water testing under the guidance of experienced staff Operating inspection equipment (moisture meters, hygrometers, borescopes, air sampling pumps, thermal cameras, XRF analyzers) as you're trained on each Collecting samples (dust wipes, paint chips, soil, air) and maintaining proper chain-of-custody documentation Documenting findings on-site with photos, measurements, and detailed field notes Writing clear, professional inspection reports for clients, insurers, and public adjusters Working toward Florida Mold Assessor licensure and EPA/state Lead Inspector certification, supported by the company Building toward independent inspection work as your training and licensing progress What We're Looking For Strong written communication skills you'll be producing client-ready reports, so clear, accurate writing matters Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable following procedures precisely (sampling and documentation protocols leave little room for error) Willing to adapt and take on new or different roles as the business grows Comfortable with physical fieldwork in tight, dusty, or uncomfortable spaces Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Basic computer proficiency (report software, photo documentation, email) Professional, presentable demeanor for direct client and adjuster interaction Willingness to study for and obtain required state/federal licensing and certifications What We Offer Paid, hands-on training in mold, water damage, and lead inspection Company-sponsored path to EPA/state Lead Inspector certification Growth path toward more independent inspection responsibilities as certifications are completed
