Job Description Addison Group is partnering with one of our clients to hire a Reimbursement Specialist with a strong background in liability billing and collections. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering a hybrid work model after initial training. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience working liability claims, negotiating with attorneys, and managing complex accounts receivable workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to inbound calls from patients, attorneys, and insurance representatives regarding account inquiries Provide clear explanations of billing statements, claim status, and payment processes Conduct ongoing follow-up with insurance carriers and legal contacts to support timely claim resolution Accurately document all account activity to maintain compliance and audit readiness Review accounts for accuracy, applying adjustments in alignment with approved fee schedules and internal guidelines Research unpaid or underpaid claims and gather required documentation to support processing Qualifications Must have 2+ years of recent liability-focused AR or collections experience Demonstrated experience working with major liability payors Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Practice management system experience Additional details: Hybrid work model after training Must live within IL to be considered Flexible start times within standard business hours Full-time opportunity with long-term growth potential Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
