Full-time Join the Normandy Team Normandy Insurance Company is seeking an experienced Senior Workers' Compensation Adjuster to join our claims team. This position is responsible for managing an inventory of approximately 75-80 claims, with exposures ranging from routine to severe and complex. The ideal candidate is an experienced claims professional who exercises sound judgment and decision-making, communicates clearly, and enjoys working collaboratively to achieve thoughtful, well-supported claim outcomes. What You'll Do You will manage assigned claims in accordance with Normandy's claims practices, applicable laws and regulations, medical causation, and established internal practices and expectations.
Responsibilities include:
Investigating, reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating claim information Conducting coverage and statutory employment analyses Evaluating accident compensability and medical causality Making timely, well-supported benefit determinations Developing individualized claim strategies and action plans Managing reserves and overall claim exposure Overseeing litigated claims and coordinating effectively with defense counsel Identifying and escalating significant developments appropriately Maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements Communicating clearly and professionally with all claim participants Working toward timely, appropriate, and defensible claim resolution How You'll Work At Normandy, claims management is a team effort. In this role, you will: Contribute to, and support Normandy's collaborative culture and distinctive claims management approach Coordinate with medical professionals, legal counsel, nurse consultants, agents, underwriters, and other internal and external resources. Bring together relevant medical, legal, investigative, and financial information to develop a clear claim strategy and advance claims to appropriate resolution.
