At United Church Insurance Association (Insurance Board), we're a mission-driven nonprofit serving 4,400+ churches and faith-based organizations nationwide with insurance, risk management, and education. We're seeking a Senior Claims Analyst with strong property claims experience to coordinate claim services, help resolve complex claim issues, and serve as an important connection between our participants, third-party administrators, carriers, agents, and internal teams. You won't simply process claims. You'll use your property claims knowledge and judgment to review coverage, identify issues, monitor complex claims, and help ensure our participants receive responsive, effective claim service. Your work has purpose. When a fire, storm, water loss, or other property claim affects one of our participants, your work helps churches and faith-based organizations recover and move forward. We take care of our people. We currently pay 100% of employee health, dental, and vision premiums for employees and their dependents, contribute to a 403(b) retirement plan with no employee match required, and offer a hybrid schedule with just 1 day per week in the office. What You'll Do Serve as a key contact for property claim issues involving participants, agents, adjusters, TPAs, carriers, and vendors Review claim reports, coverage, program participation, and eligibility; identify and monitor complex property claims Work with adjusters, TPAs, and carriers to support timely and effective claim resolution Review claim files and audit TPA data for accuracy and completeness Analyze claims data, develop reports, and identify trends, variances, and performance insights Respond to claims data requests and contribute to cross-functional projects and process improvements Support claims-related education and loss-control initiatives, as well as other commercial claim lines as needed What We're Looking For Required 3-5+ years of property claims adjusting, claims analysis, or related commercial insurance experience Strong knowledge of property claims and ability to read and interpret commercial insurance policies Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively with others Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience Preferred Commercial property claims experience, including working with TPAs, independent adjusters, or carriers Experience with claims reporting, Business Intelligence tools, and/or RMIS Insurance industry designation or license such as AIC, ARM, CRM, CPCU, or Property & Casualty license You don't need to check every box.
