Join Sedgwick as a Senior Property Loss Adjuster and play a key role in helping clients and customers recover when property losses occur. Managing a portfolio of property claims from instruction through to settlement, you will deliver a professional, empathetic and customer-focused service while ensuring claims are handled efficiently and in accordance with policy coverage and regulatory requirements. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll manage a varied portfolio including domestic, commercial and complex property losses, giving you the opportunity to apply your technical expertise across a broad range of claim types. You will work closely with claimants, insurers, brokers and third-party experts, building trusted relationships and guiding stakeholders through the claims process. From investigating losses and assessing policy coverage to preparing reports, arranging settlements and resolving complex issues, you will combine technical expertise with strong communication and problem-solving skills to achieve positive outcomes. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload while being supported by an experienced technical and operational leadership team, joining a collaborative environment where technical discussion, colleague support and shared learning are encouraged. You'll take ownership of claims throughout their lifecycle, using your attention to detail to identify potential fraud indicators and handle customer concerns professionally. - Experience managing property claims through investigation, assessment and settlement while delivering excellent customer outcomes. Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with claimants, insurers, brokers and third parties. Technical Claims Knowledge
- Sound understanding of policy coverage, claims investigation and property-related losses, with knowledge of building construction or defects considered advantageous . Organisation & Problem Solving
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, make informed decisions and progress claims efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Communication Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. Professional Qualifications
- APA Property/Liability qualification essential; CIP or higher qualification advantageous . Technical Proficiency & Flexibility
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications and claims systems, with a flexible approach to supporting business needs and responding to major loss events when required . Driving Licence
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel as required .
