Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster - Summary We are seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster with strong New Jersey experience to oversee a diverse caseload of workers' compensation claims, ranging from routine matters to complex cases. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with the potential to transition into a long-term position. The role is fully remote but candidates must live within the state of NJ. Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster - Responsibilities Manage an assigned caseload of New Jersey State and Federal Longshore and Harbor workers' compensation claims from initial investigation through resolution. Conduct coverage and liability analysis, investigate claims, manage medical treatment, establish reserves, oversee litigation, and handle negotiations and settlements. Ensure claims are evaluated and processed in accordance with applicable statutes, regulations, policies, procedures, and industry best practices. Provide guidance and support to claims personnel, including assisting with training, mentoring, workflow coordination, and quality oversight. Collaborate with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster - Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. 5+ years of progressively responsible workers' compensation claims experience , with strong knowledge of New Jersey claims. Thorough understanding of workers' compensation laws, regulations, compliance requirements, insurance coverage, and claims procedures. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to independently manage priorities and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to effectively work in a hybrid environment. Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster - Compensation Temporary-to-Permanent Opportunity $34-$36/hour
