Join Our Team as a Senior Claims Specialist! We are seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic team in Brea, CA. This is a fully remote position, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while supporting California claims exclusively. As a Senior Claims Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing complex and unusual claims.
Your responsibilities will include:
Interpreting and making decisions on policy coverages.
Managing investigative activities and directing litigation strategies.
Analyzing claims activity and preparing detailed reports.
Establishing reserves and authorizing payments within your authority.
Settling claims promptly and equitably.
Developing subrogation and third-party recovery potential.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
4-8 years of technical claims investigations/settling experience.
Workers Compensation (WC) Adjuster License as per jurisdictional requirements.
Strong written and oral communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferences
Industry designations such as IIA, AIC, AEI, and/or CPCU.
