We are seeking an experienced and motivated Claims Adjuster to join our team. This position may be remote or office-based depending on the candidate's location and qualifications . Spanish fluency and the ability to obtain an adjuster's license are important for this role. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of claims handling experience , including both property damage and bodily injury claims, with strong investigative, evaluation, and negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities Receive, acknowledge, and establish new claims. Analyze coverage and determine policy applicability. Conduct thorough claim investigations. Evaluate liability and damages. Set and maintain appropriate claim reserves. Quantify property damage and bodily injury exposures. Negotiate settlements with represented and unrepresented claimants. Issue payments and facilitate claim resolution. Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys, brokers, and other interested parties. Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation. Manage claims through resolution while adhering to company standards and best practices. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess: Minimum 3 years of claims adjusting experience . Experience handling both property damage and bodily injury claims . Experience handling total loss claims . Strong negotiation and communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Existing adjuster's license preferred; however, candidates without a license must be willing to obtain the required license during the introductory/training period. Obtaining and maintaining the license is a condition of continued employment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed.
