Part-Time Medical Only Claims Adjuster (Hybrid) South Denver Metro Area organization is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable person to manage medical-only workers' compensation claims. This hybrid position offers a consistent 20-hour work week with a combination of remote and in-office work. Salary Range $19-$22 per hour. Email resume to ctsi@ctsi.org . Medical Only Claims Adjuster (Part-Time, Hybrid) We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Only Claims Adjuster to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in worker's compensation medical only insurance claims, who enjoys helping people and managing details in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Investigate and manage medical-only workers' compensation claims. Communicate with county employers, injured workers, and medical providers regarding claim details. Review medical documentation and authorize treatment as appropriate. Process medical bills and ensure payments comply with state fee schedules and regulations. Establish and maintain claim reserves. Monitor claims for changes that may require referral to an indemnity adjuster. Maintain accurate electronic claim files and claim notes. Perform additional claims-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred. 1-2 years of experience in worker's compensation medical only claims handling (lost time experience helpful) Strong communication and customer service skills. Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding is a plus. This hybrid position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment while developing expertise in workers' compensation claims management.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
