Job Description
Fraud Investigator TENCU| Nashville, TN Do you have a passion for protecting people, solving complex investigations, and staying one step ahead of fraudsters? TEN Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and member-focused Fraud Investigator to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of fraud detection, prevention, and investigation while helping protect our members and the credit union from financial losses. What You'll Do Investigate and resolve fraud claims, disputes, and suspicious activity. Monitor accounts and fraud detection systems, including Verafin and Advanced Fraud Solutions. Partner with law enforcement and legal entities during fraud investigations. Educate employees through fraud prevention and new hire training. Assist members with debit card issues, fraud protection, and account security. Conduct video reviews and in-depth investigations. Analyze account activity and monitor overdrawn accounts. Process fraud-related charge-offs, losses, returns, and reporting. Maintain compliance with federal regulations and credit union policies. Help minimize fraud losses and strengthen member trust. Support the Call Center during peak service periods. What You'll Bring Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum two years of customer service or support operations experience Strong investigative and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn fraud detection systems Experience working in a bank, credit union, or financial institution Knowledge of fraud prevention and loss mitigation practices Familiarity with debit card disputes and fraud investigations Understanding of financial regulations, including Regulations CC, E, D, J, and Z Why Join TENCU?
