In this role, you will provide crucial administrative and operational support to our claims department, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of insurance claims. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service, contributing directly to our mission of providing financial protection and reliable support to our clients. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to the claims assessors and the wider claims team. Accurately process and log new claims information into the company's internal systems. Communicate professionally with policyholders and third parties via telephone and email to gather necessary information and documentation. Maintain and update claim files with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in the verification of policy coverage and review claim submissions for completeness. Prepare and distribute standard correspondence, reports, and other documents as required. Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing clear and concise information. Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments to facilitate the smooth progression of claims. Qualifications Previous experience in an administrative, support, or customer service role is essential. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity. Experience within the insurance or financial services industry is highly desirable but not essential.
