San Antonio, TX |Full-Time | Claims Build your claims career with a team that values sound judgment, clear communication, and excellent service. As an ATR Adjuster, you will investigate and resolve casualty claims, manage attorney-represented matters, and help customers and other parties navigate the claims process with professionalism and care. What You'll Do Review policy documents and endorsements to verify coverage. Investigate claims, evaluate liability, and analyze negligence and damages. Handle attorney-represented bodily injury claims and other assigned casualty matters. Evaluate exposure and negotiate fair, well-supported settlements with attorneys, claimants, and other parties. Handle Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection claims. Set and maintain appropriate reserves and keep complete, accurate claim documentation. Manage a pending inventory, meet deadlines, and provide timely follow-up. Deliver professional, responsive service while following Company procedures and regulatory requirements. What You Bring Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or at least two years of casualty adjusting experience. Ability to read and apply insurance policies, contracts, and claims procedures. Strong investigation, analysis, negotiation, organization, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence communicating with attorneys and claimants. Ability to adapt, prioritize, and manage multiple claims in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn claims-management systems. Ability to obtain and maintain a Texas All-Lines Adjuster license and other required licenses, including completing all required continuing education on time. Preferred Experience Claims handling, insurance, legal, negotiation, or customer service experience. Experience with bodily injury or attorney-represented claims. Why Join Fred Loya Insurance?
