Utilize GPS technology to accurately document locations and navigate inspection sites efficiently. Perform risk analysis by identifying hazards related to workplace safety, water damage restoration needs, construction defects, or potential fraud indicators. Collect detailed data through quantitative analysis and trend identification to support underwriting decisions and risk management strategies. Communicate findings clearly to clients via reports and direct conversations, providing recommendations for repairs or further action. Maintain all inspection records meticulously using financial software and digital documentation tools to ensure compliance with industry standards. Experience Proven experience in loss control, property inspection, or related fields within commercial insurance or risk management environments. Strong knowledge of property insurance policies, underwriting procedures, fire codes, water damage restoration techniques, mold remediation processes, and OSHA safety standards. Familiarity with construction inspection practices and the use of inspection tools such as measuring wheels and digital cameras for surveying purposes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing and data analysis; experience with financial software is a plus. Ability to perform workplace safety assessments while adhering to OSHA regulations; understanding workers' compensation insurance principles is advantageous.
