Job Summary Summit Fleet is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Insurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all communication between customers and insurance companies, ensuring that all applicable information and documentation remains accurate and up to date. This position requires a high level of professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The Insurance Specialist reports directly to the Insurance Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Guide new customers through the setup of Summit Fleet's insurance requirements with their respective insurance providers
• Maintain and update active customers' insurance documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times
• Serve as the subject matter expert on managing customer insurance for Summit Fleet, providing knowledgeable support to both customers and vendors
• Assist customers and vendors in processing insurance claims involving Summit Fleet trucks
• File and document claims related to internal recoveries for damaged vehicles
• Provide support in legal disputes involving auto claims filed against company policy
• Develop and maintain thorough documentation of all job duties and processes for this role
• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the broader risk management team
• Other duties as assigned Qualifications/Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional approach
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management abilities
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
• Capable of performing consistently and calmly in a high-pressure environment
• Collaborative team player with a willingness to learn new internal software and systems Education and/or Experience
• 2-3 years of experience in an office or customer service environment (required)
• Experience with commercial insurance (preferred)
