Claims Analyst Smart Simple Solutions Falls Church, VA Job Details Full-time Up to $43 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Property & Casualty License Bachelor's degree Property casualty insurance Full Job Description We're looking for a detail-oriented Claims Analyst to review and assess insurance claims, determine coverage, validity, and settlement amounts, and communicate directly with policyholders, claimants, and third parties throughout the claims process. Responsibilities Review and assess insurance claims for coverage and validity Determine appropriate settlement amounts Communicate with policyholders, claimants, and third parties Confer with legal counsel as needed Process and settle claims in a timely, accurate manner Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field 2 years of experience in claims support, client coordination in property and casualty matters, or business/healthcare administration Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills Comfortable coordinating with policyholders, claimants, and legal counsel
