Overview
EXPLEO GROUP USA
is currently looking for an EWIS Certification Engineer to join our team for an exciting new opportunity in Little Rock, Arkansas. The EWIS Certification Engineer will support aircraft certification and modification activities by developing compliance strategies, certification plans, and substantiation packages for electrical wiring interconnection systems. This role works closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with FAA airworthiness requirements.
Responsibilities:
Certification & Compliance Develop EWIS certification plans and compliance strategies Prepare and review compliance documentation, substantiation reports, and certification deliverables Support certification activities associated with aircraft modifications and new aircraft programs Verify compliance with FAA Part 25 EWIS regulations and customer requirements System Safety & Airworthiness Participate in safety assessments, risk evaluations, and compliance reviews Evaluate EWIS-related design changes for continued airworthiness and regulatory compliance Support development of certification data packages and regulatory submissions Coordinate issue resolution with engineering and certification stakeholders Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Program Management teams Interface with customers, certification representatives, and regulatory authorities as needed Support audits, reviews, and technical presentations related to certification activities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 5+ years of aircraft certification or compliance experience Experience with FAA Part 25 EWIS certification requirements Knowledge of aircraft modification or type-certification programs Understanding of aircraft system safety assessments and regulatory compliance processes Strong technical writing and documentation skills What We Offer At Expleo Group USA, we value expertise, innovation, and collaboration.   • $35•$40 hourly.
Please note that the compensation range displayed is a generalized range for pipelining purposes and may not reflect the final range for a specific role.
