POSITION SUMMARY GSI
International is seeking a Quality Systems & Compliance Manager to take ownership of our
ISO 9001
Quality Management System and ensure quality remains a daily operating standard across the entire manufacturing floor. This is a hands-on leadership position with direct accountability for inspection, documentation, compliance, corrective action, calibration, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, holds teams accountable, and understands that quality is built into the process—not inspected in at the end. You will play a critical role in ensuring every process consistently produces the intended results and that everything GSI ships meets our customers' high standards.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Own and maintain
ISO 9001
compliance across the operation as an everyday operating standard. Ensure in-process, first-part, receiving, and final inspections are performed accurately and consistently. Identify and address non-conformances before they become customer escapes. Lead and develop the quality team while maintaining high standards of accountability. Drive measurable continuous-improvement initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and consistency. Maintain accurate quality documentation, records, procedures, and work instructions. Ensure corrective actions are completed effectively and within appropriate timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESISO 9001
& Quality Management System Serve as the primary owner of the company's
ISO 9001
Quality Management System. Maintain QMS procedures and ensure compliance with ISO requirements. Conduct regular QMS reviews with management. Support internal and external audits and ensure findings are addressed appropriately. Drive ongoing improvements to the quality management system. Inspection & Quality Control Manage first-part, receiving, in-process, and final inspection activities. Ensure dimensional, visual, and document-based inspections are performed correctly. Assign and coordinate quality personnel based on production and inspection requirements. Verify inspection results are accurately documented and maintained. Identify potential quality issues before products leave the facility. Non-Conformance & Corrective Action Own the non-conforming material/NCR process from identification through closure. Lead root-cause analysis and corrective-action activities. Track corrective actions and ensure they are completed effectively and on time. Identify recurring issues and implement preventive improvements. Calibration & Measurement Systems Manage the calibration program for precision measuring and test equipment. Maintain calibration records and ensure equipment remains within calibration requirements. Prevent the use of expired or improperly calibrated equipment on the production floor. Documentation & Data Control Maintain document and data control in accordance with
ISO 9001
requirements. Ensure procedures, work instructions, inspection records, and quality documentation remain accurate and current. Establish clear documentation that defines responsibilities and process requirements. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop quality personnel. Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable to quality standards. Build a culture where quality ownership exists throughout the manufacturing operation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a Quality Supervisor, Quality Manager, Quality Systems Manager, or equivalent leadership role . Direct experience managing an
ISO 9001
Quality Management System , including audits, documentation, and corrective actions. Proven experience with dimensional, visual, and document-based inspection. Experience managing calibration programs for precision measuring equipment. Associate degree in quality management, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience .
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in aerospace, defense, precision machining, or advanced manufacturing .
ISO 9001
Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification. Experience with CMM inspection or PC-DMIS programming. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification. Experience working in a tight-tolerance manufacturing environment.

$60,000-$90,000 per year, based on experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment, machine noise, and shop-floor hazards. Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the manufacturing floor during the workday. PPE is required while on the shop floor.
