2989938276-2 Apply for this job now Job Description MV Transportation seeks an Environmental Manager to lead environmental compliance and sustainability across our transit operations. In this role, you will develop and manage programs for regulatory compliance, waste and emissions control, and spill prevention at facilities and fleet yards. You will perform audits, risk assessments, and reporting, partner with operations leaders to embed best practices, and train frontline and maintenance teams. This position supports MV's strong safety and community-focused culture while driving continuous improvement in environmental performance. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee environmental compliance programs for transit facilities and fleets. Monitor adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations and company policies. Conduct environmental risk assessments, inspections, and audits; drive corrective actions. Manage waste, emissions, and spill prevention/response programs. Prepare and submit required environmental reports and documentation. Train operations and maintenance staff on environmental and safety best practices. Collaborate with operations leadership to integrate sustainability into daily practices. Track and analyze environmental performance metrics; recommend improvements. Liaise with regulatory agencies and support site inspections. Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis for environmental events.
