Your role will involve ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, which is crucial for the smooth flow of cross-border transactions. By developing and implementing trade compliance policies and procedures, you will contribute to minimizing risks and avoiding penalties related to import violations. You will report directly to our Sr. Manager, International Trade Compliance. In this role, you will lead and manage a team of experienced import compliance professionals and execute a wide range of operational activities to maintain compliance with the Customs Regulations including U.S. Foreign-Trade Zones regulations. This includes partnering with internal stakeholders, external consultants, the local FTZ boards and CBP. You will also be actively involved in monitoring all zones activities to ensure zone admissions, entries, recordkeeping and inventories are maintained in compliance with the regulations. In this role you will also be actively involved in helping to build processes to support tariff mitigation strategies.
