This position serves as a key operational resource for ensuring that district and school systems function efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements. The position is responsible for coordinating and maintaining critical district information systems; student enrollment and records; attendance and data reporting; state and federal compliance requirements; audits; board governance processes; food service compliance; expanded learning program compliance; parent communication systems; and required school committees and programs. The Superintendent Secretary/Compliance Director works across departments and programs and serves as a central point of coordination between the Superintendent, school site staff, district departments, families, outside agencies, and regulatory entities. Because of the size of the District, the position requires a high degree of independence, initiative, organization, discretion, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.   • BA Degree (if applicable) Comments and Other Information It is preferred that the Superintendent's Secretary/Compliance Director possess a BA/BS and have 2-3 years experience working in a K-12 school district or educational organization.
1. Associates Degree required. 2. Ability to speak and write Standard English appropriate in a public school setting. 3. Ability to speak and write in Spanish is desirable. 4. Must pass LiveScan criminal background check and fingerprinting, pre-employment drug screening, and TB Testing. 5. First Aid and CPR certification required. 6. S/he must possess strong computer skills, have the ability to track data and produce reports. 7. Possess excellent communication, supervisory, administrative, and fiscal management skills. 8. Experience with student information systems, state reporting, compliance, audits, or school district operations preferred. 9. Experience managing multiple technology systems and data platforms preferred.
