Job Description
About us A&F Truck Repair 24/7 Truck Repair Service The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles while performing preventive maintenance and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include servicing engines, transmissions, brakes, steering and suspension, fuel, cooling, air, hydraulic, and electrical systems; using diagnostic equipment to identify and repair faults; performing DOT/BIT inspections; repairing tires, wheel ends, and wheel bearings; responding to roadside service calls; completing accurate repair documentation; and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, compliance with all safety regulations, and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and emergency service calls as needed. Hourly pay is based off of experience.
