The Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving systems that ensure compliance with applicable HRSA Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Program requirements, accreditation standards, FTCA requirements, UDS reporting, HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and other applicable federal and organizational requirements Key Responsibilities

• Maintains current knowledge of Federal, State and Accrediting regulations and standards pertaining to ongoing compliance.
• Leads compliance and HRSA readiness, including preparedness for HRSA Operational Site Visits, accreditation reviews, audits, and other regulatory oversight.
• Directs Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) to promote continuous improvement in clinical quality, patient safety, patient experience, access, health outcomes, and organizational performance.
• Aggregates annual data and conducts an overall evaluation of the PQI program for efficiency and effectiveness of performance throughout the year.
• Leads risk management and patient safety to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor organizational and clinical risks.
• Monitor compliance, records, and maintenance for CLIA testing permissions and moderate complexity lab equipment in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Oversees medical records and related privacy, security, and documentation requirements to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Oversees Uniform Data Systems reporting, credentialing and privileging, peer review, emergency preparedness, and compliance trainings to ensure required programs meet regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Directs compliance investigations to including organizational response to identified incidents related to compliance, quality, risk, patient safety, grievance, and regulatory concerns.
• Provides governance and oversight of policies, procedures, contracts, and compliance documentation to support regulatory compliance, organizational accountability, and operational readiness.
• Advises Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors on compliance, quality, risk, regulatory requirements, organizational performance, and strategic improvement opportunities.

Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related area At least 3 years of experience in the areas of quality management, risk management and compliance. At least 2 years of experience working at a FQHC or comparable community health care setting.
