Summary:

The Compliance Manager serves as the operational leader of the Compliance Department and is responsible for overseeing the bank's compliance management system on a day-to-day basis. This position ensures regulatory compliance activities are effectively administered, monitored, tracked, and reported while supporting the Compliance Officer in managing enterprise compliance risk. The Compliance Manager coordinates department operations, monitoring activities, complaint management, policy administration, regulatory change implementation, staff training, and examination preparedness. This role serves as the primary backup to the Compliance Officer and works closely with business units across the organization to promote a strong culture of compliance. Location:

The location for this position may be flexible based on where the applicant is located as well as office space availability within our Planters Bank system. This position may require some travel.

Education, Experience, Equipment Skills, and Other Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Manager or related field preferred or five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in applicable areas of work. Minimum 5-7 years of banking compliance, risk management, audit, or regulatory experience preferred. Minimum 2-3 years of leadership, supervisory, or project management experience preferred. CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) preferred Experience working with consumer lending regulations and compliance monitoring programs. Experience supporting regulatory examinations and audits preferred. Strong understanding of consumer protection regulations, including: Truth in Lending Act (Reg Z)

UDAAP/UDAP FCRA

Regulation E Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Power BI experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with executives, regulators, auditors, and staff.
