This is a hands-on leadership role requiring 100% floor presence, real-time communication, and continuous monitoring of warehouse processes to ensure every order leaves the facility accurately and in compliance with company procedures. Key Responsibilities Operational Compliance Ensure all inbound and outbound orders are accurately scanned into and out of the warehouse. Verify that 100% of outbound shipments are photographed before departure to provide a complete audit trail. Monitor compliance with warehouse SOPs and ensure all processes are followed consistently. Identify, investigate, and resolve any scanning, loading, or documentation discrepancies immediately. Floor Leadership Maintain a constant presence on the warehouse floor throughout the shift. Proactively monitor loading activities and intervene when standards are not being met. Conduct regular compliance checks across all warehouse zones. Support warehouse teams to ensure operational efficiency without compromising accuracy. Communication Maintain constant communication via walkie-talkie with loaders, checkers, supervisors, and warehouse staff. Call out issues in real time and coordinate immediate corrective actions. Provide clear direction and updates to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Escalate recurring compliance concerns to warehouse management. Accuracy & Quality Control Ensure every shipment is loaded accurately according to customer requirements. Confirm all paperwork, scanning records, and photographic evidence are complete before dispatch. Reduce loading errors, missed scans, and customer complaints through proactive monitoring. Perform spot audits throughout each shift to verify compliance. Performance & Accountability Drive a culture of accountability and operational excellence. Coach team members on correct scanning and loading procedures. Record and report compliance metrics and recurring issues. Work closely with warehouse leadership to improve processes and eliminate errors. Skills & Experience Previous warehouse leadership or compliance experience required. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, scanning systems, and dispatch processes. Excellent communication skills with confidence directing teams in a fast-paced environment. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Comfortable working in a physically active role with 100% floor presence.
