July 31, 2026 Mission The Director of Safety & Compliance leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs across all Lynch Group operations. This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations while strengthening a proactive safety culture that protects our drivers, warehouse teams, facilities staff, and administrative team members. Through collaboration with leadership and frontline team members, this role helps ensure our teams operate safely, our equipment is properly maintained, and our safety practices evolve as our business grows. You bring strong knowledge of transportation, workplace safety, and compliance regulations, and you are comfortable working in both operational environments and leadership discussions. You are detail-oriented, analytical, and practical in your approach. You build trust with drivers, warehouse teams, and leaders by focusing on solutions, education, and continuous improvement rather than simply enforcing rules. You are comfortable leading audits, analyzing trends, and developing programs that reduce risk while supporting operational efficiency. What You will Do Safety Leadership & Culture Lead and strengthen a proactive safety culture across all Lynch Group operations. Partner with leadership to embed safety expectations into daily operations. Chair the Safety Committee and support accident preventability reviews. Promote continuous improvement in safety practices through training, communication, and leadership engagement. Transportation Safety & DOT Compliance Oversee safety programs supporting Class A, B, and C vehicle operations. Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations including driver qualification files, drug and alcohol programs, and driver training. Monitor CSA scores, roadside inspections, and driver safety performance. Maintain the USDOT Accident Register and assist with accident investigations. Monitor weather and roadway hazards affecting drivers operating across the East Coast. Workplace Safety Implement safety programs for warehouse operations, material handling equipment, facilities teams, and office environments. Conduct facility inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with PPE requirements and workplace safety procedures. Recommend improvements to reduce workplace hazards and improve operational safety. Incident Response & Risk Management Respond to vehicle accidents, in person when possible. Lead investigations into workplace incidents, vehicle accidents, and near-miss events. Identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Track and analyze safety trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Training & Development Develop and deliver safety training programs for drivers, warehouse teams, facilities personnel, and office staff. Provide FMCSA training for new entrant drivers and supervisors. Maintain training records and certification documentation. Support forklift training, ergonomic training, and safety awareness programs. Regulatory Compliance & Audits Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and other applicable regulations. Maintain driver qualification files and regulatory documentation. Prepare for and manage regulatory audits including FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA. Act as the primary contact for regulatory investigators and manage audit documentation. Safety Data & Reporting Monitor safety metrics including incidents, inspections, and compliance indicators. Track safety performance trends and report findings to leadership. Support leadership with data and recommendations that strengthen safety performance. Requirements Skills, Experience, Training Associate or Bachelor's degree in applicable field of study such as Occupational Health and Safety 5-10 years of experience in workplace safety ideally in a transportation and/or warehouse environment Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, and workplace safety laws Experience with workers compensation and OSHA recordkeeping Experience supporting
DOT / FMCSA
compliance strongly preferred. Forklift Trainer or Defensive Driving Instructor certifications a plus. Strong investigative and analytical skills Ability to lead safety programs across multiple work environments. Self-starter comfortable building structure and improving processes. Superior written and oral communication skills Effective communicator able to influence leaders and frontline employees. Ability to work well with a team and collaborate with others. Additional Skills and Training (Preferred but not required) Certified Director of Safety (CDS) Commercial Driver License (Class A or Class B) Lean Six Sigma Certification (Yellow or Green Belt) Project Management Certification (CAPM or PMP) First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor

Authorized Trainer Telematics/Fleet Safety Technology experience Ergonomics Assessment Training Physical Requirements & Work Environment This role operates in a combination of office, warehouse, yard, and transportation environments. Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise levels, and operational equipment may occur during site visits and safety inspections. The physical requirements and work environment described here represent those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to navigate warehouse environments, including climbing stairs, walking uneven surfaces, and working around moving equipment. Ability to enter and exit commercial vehicles and company equipment as needed for safety inspections and investigations. Ability to bend, reach, kneel, or crouch occasionally during safety observations or inspections. Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computer, phone, and other technology. Ability to travel between company locations and respond to incidents when necessary.
