Environmental Compliance Supervisor Location:
Crookston, MN Salary:
$105,527 - $131,910 annually Full-Time | Leadership Opportunity Make an Impact in Environmental Compliance Are you an experienced environmental professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and ensuring operations meet regulatory standards? We're looking for an Environmental Compliance Supervisor to serve as the primary environmental resource for a large manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take a leadership role while making a meaningful impact on environmental performance, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operations. What You'll Do In this role, you will: Serve as the primary contact for state environmental agencies and regulatory inspections. Lead environmental compliance activities, including permitting, sampling, testing, recordkeeping, and reporting. Oversee compliance with air, wastewater, stormwater, solid waste, landfill, and hazardous waste requirements. Monitor and maintain compliance with Title V air permits , including emissions testing and required documentation. Coordinate wastewater sampling, treatment performance, testing, and regulatory reporting. Oversee stormwater collection, treatment, and discharge requirements. Manage landfill compliance, groundwater monitoring, land application activities, and byproduct disposal. Troubleshoot environmental compliance issues and implement corrective actions. Coordinate environmental audits, inspections, documentation, and follow-up activities. Oversee outside contractors and, when applicable, supervise union employees involved in environmental activities. Maintain environmental records and complete required semi-annual and annual regulatory reports. Manage spill prevention plans, inspections, training, and hazardous waste storage requirements. Work closely with operations, maintenance, laboratory personnel, and environmental leadership to continuously improve compliance and performance. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will bring: A four-year technical education or related background. Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting requirements. Strong understanding of environmental compliance within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work effectively with regulatory agencies, contractors, operations teams, and management. A valid driver's license. Willingness and ability to obtain required environmental and wastewater certifications within the specified timeframe. Why Consider This Opportunity?
