Drive Excellence. Make a Lasting Impact. Are you a strategic healthcare leader with a passion for regulatory excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement? Trellis Supportive Care is seeking a Director of Compliance to lead agency-wide compliance initiatives, health information management, privacy programs, and regulatory support that ensure exceptional patient care and organizational excellence. This is a unique leadership opportunity to influence the future of a respected nonprofit hospice, palliative care and supportive care organization committed to compassionate, high-quality care. What You'll Do As the Director of Compliance, you will provide leadership and oversight for regulatory compliance, health information management, HIPAA privacy, and agency-wide regulatory initiatives. You'll partner with leaders across the organization to ensure Trellis remains compliant with state, federal, and accreditation standards while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead agency-wide regulatory compliance and readiness initiatives. Interpret evolving healthcare regulations and implement organization-wide compliance strategies. Oversee Health Information Management processes, ensuring medical record integrity and HIPAA compliance. Serve as the organization's Privacy Officer, leading privacy monitoring, compliance activities, and regulatory guidance. Partner with clinical, quality, IT, HR, and operational leaders to strengthen regulatory processes and improve outcomes. Guide accreditation preparation, external surveys, audits, and compliance action plans. Mentor and develop high-performing teams while promoting collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence. We're Looking For Someone Who Thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
