Job Description

Local southern NJ not for profit seeking an Operations & Compliance Assistant Manager to join our management team.
Compensation :
The salary is commensurate with experience. Company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 403(b)-retirement plan; generous paid time off and 15 paid holidays. Bonuses also paid based on personal and company performance.
Working Environment/Location:
The position is in person (not remote). The office is located in the tri-county area of South Jersey (Philly).
Responsibilities:
As the Operations & Compliance Assistant Manager, your key responsibilities will include Collaborating with the team to efficiently and effectively operate the department Helping staff by providing ideas, oversight and assistance in delivering the best service possible Assisting in creation of agency grant budgets and reporting Providing oversight to the operations & transportation staff Promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement Ensure full compliance with requirements, regulations, contract requirements, and grant funding guidelines Maintain adequate staffing levels to support operational and service goals Foster a positive workplace culture that values teamwork, diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement Assisting in Human Resource duties Other duties as required
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need Bachelor's degree in any field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial position. Non-profit experience a plus Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and developing teams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
