DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee). The Impact you will have in this role: The Employee Relations (ER) Director oversees a wide variety of cases and investigations, serves as a trusted advisor to HR and business stakeholders, and leads initiatives that mitigate risk, support business objectives, and promote a healthy work environment. The ER Director's portfolio of work includes case management and analysis of related trends, monitoring developments in employment law, building people manager competency in employment practices, and contributing to the development and execution of the organization's ER strategy.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Lead investigations and manage ER cases, performance concerns, and disciplinary issues. This includes collaborating with HR Business Partners, advising managers, facilitating resolution, and preparing related analyses and documentation. Resolve complex employment matters and champion strategic ER practices that continuously evolve to mitigate risk. Manage or support employment-related actions such as staff reductions, reorganizations, relocations, etc. Partner across the enterprise to ensure smooth implementation. Develop initiatives and training for people managers, HR Business Partners and others on ER best practices Design and maintain ER policies, procedures, and guidelines Analyze case trends and translate insights into practical solutions and risk mitigation strategies Partner with Legal, internal regional teams, and other stakeholders to monitor global employment laws and ensure compliance. Complete special projects and assignments as needed Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
Qualifications:
