In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive Safety Program that promotes a culture of safety and service excellence across all company operations and the Access-A-Ride service network. This position holds executive accountability for ensuring complete regulatory compliance investigating accidents and incidents, managing field operations, and directly supervising Safety Managers and Road Supervisors to enforce contractual and legal benchmarks.
Core Responsibilities:
This role requires direct oversight, formal analysis, and rigorous documentation of all field accidents, occupational incidents, and daily safety-related items. Direct, evaluate, and provide leadership to the Safety Managers and Road Supervisors team across multiple locations. Assess candidate driving histories to mitigate risk and ensure the recruitment of top-tier driving talent Structure supervisor scheduling to ensure total field availability whenever AAR Service is active to respond to every Road Call and investigate every Accident. Mandate and coordinate targeted monitoring or heightened field supervision for specific Drivers, high-risk routes, and mandated retraining. Regulatory Compliance Recruit, train, and maintain an adequate roster of certified Article 19-A examiners to completely satisfy all state regulatory requirements. Properly train all subordinate Road Supervisors, specifically onboarding them in formal Accident investigation procedures and keeping them qualified under all company policies and regulations. Role Requirements & Qualifications Experience Minimum of five (5) years of management and supervision experience directly within demand of responsive transportation services Advanced structural familiarity with Article 19-A of the NYS DMV regulations Proven capability in accident reconstruction, field investigation methodologies, and contract compliance auditing.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
