full-time Legal & Compliance Paralegal The Legal & Compliance Paralegal is a newly created role and will be a key member of the firm's Legal & Compliance team. This individual will support a broad range of legal and compliance matters, with particular focus on fund closings, entity management, investor obligations, and recurring compliance workflows. Responsibilities Fund Closings & Document Management Maintain key fund documentation, amendments, consents, deadlines, and related trackers in partnership with Legal & Compliance Reconcile fund files and databases against governing agreements and side letters Track investor obligations, including investment restrictions, excuse rights, LPAC consents, and reporting requirements Coordinate documentation requests with internal stakeholders and outside counsel Entity Management Manage entity lifecycle matters, including formations, dissolutions, name changes, good standing requests, and board slates Compliance Support Support expert network reviews, NDA conflict checks, and trade pre-clearance Track and administer investor-specific compliance obligations under LPAs and side letters Coordinate AML/KYC requests from limited partners, banking partners, and counterparties Respond to investor and counterparty requests for fund information Process Improvement & Team Support Develop and maintain best practices, documentation, and SOPs across Legal & Compliance Partner with Finance, Investor Relations, and outside counsel on ad hoc legal and compliance matters Qualifications 3-5+ years of relevant experience as a paralegal or legal/compliance associate, either in-house or at a law firm; asset management, private equity, credit, or alternative investment experience preferred Experience with entity formation and lifecycle management Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate a plus Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $80,000 - $120,000 (DOE) Annual bonus: 10% 10% retirement contribution Comprehensive health, retirement, and wellness benefits Hybrid work model (3 days in-office / 2 days remote) Why This Role High-visibility role within a respected, global investment platform Broad exposure across multiple investment strategies and business units Strong culture of collaboration, professionalism, and internal growth Long-term career development within a stable, well-capitalized organization
