Responsible for leading a team that will perform compliance risk assessments throughout the company.

Salary Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates. Primary Accountabilities Lead a team that will perform risk assessments. Create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and promoting trust, transparency, and inclusion. Work with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support ongoing development. Lead with influence and expertise. Contribute to division or department leadership team. Communicate and support organization mission, vision, values, policies, and practices. Investigate high-complexity issues, gather/research and track related information, serve as a "go to" person for team members related to the investigation, and make decisions/problem resolution and/or recommendations, as appropriate, and guide business leaders regarding potential changes. Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports, including annual performance reviews. Assist, oversees, and influences business partners and senior business leaders to ensure that adequate compliance. Research applicable laws and regulations, analyze their effect on business practices, and work with Legal Department partners to clarify requirements and address related issues. Identify and take action. Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service. Demonstrated experience developing business guidelines and procedures. Solid knowledge and understanding of financial services industry. Solid knowledge and understanding of process improvement processes, methodologies, and tools. Solid knowledge and understanding of audit and internal controls. Solid knowledge of compliance standards and practice. Demonstrated effective leadership skills. Solid knowledge of FINRA, SEC, and other regulatory requirements, Demonstrated communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills. Licenses Not applicable. Travel Requirements Up to 20%. Physical Requirements Work that primarily involves sitting/standing. This experience is held in person at our Madison, WI Headquarters or one of our AmFam core locations to help you connect with our mission, meet key team members and build relationships that support your growth. At times, sessions may be delivered virtually based on scheduling and availability. In this hybrid role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from the office.
