LEAVE & ACCOMMODATIONS PROGRAM MANAGER LOCATION

ROLE IMPACT
Lead and optimize leave of absence and workplace accommodation programs while serving as the internal subject matter expert for leave management, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation coordination. This role manages complex cases and the third-party administrator (TPA) relationship while ensuring regulatory compliance and a strong associate experience. Success means timely, compliant case resolution, effective return-to-work outcomes, and continuous improvement of leave and accommodation programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the subject matter expert for FMLA, ADA, PWFA, short-term disability, long-term disability, workers' compensation, state leave programs, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Manage complex leave, workplace accommodation, and return-to-work cases from intake through resolution, including the interactive ADA accommodation process and sensitive employee relations matters. Manage the TPA relationship, monitoring service levels, case quality, turnaround times, communications, escalations, compliance, and claim administration performance while driving corrective actions when needed. Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, business leaders, and other stakeholders to evaluate complex cases, identify compliant solutions, and develop effective return-to-work strategies. Establish standardized workflows, analyze program trends and reporting, support audits, and implement policy, process, and system improvements that strengthen compliance, efficiency, associate experience, and business continuity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of progressive experience managing leave of absence, ADA accommodations, disability programs, or related HR compliance functions. Demonstrated expertise in FMLA, ADA, PWFA, workers' compensation, disability programs, and state leave regulations, including experience supporting complex leave and accommodation cases. Experience managing third-party leave administrators and partnering with Legal, HR Business Partners, and business leaders on sensitive employee matters, with strong analytical, reporting, consultation, and stakeholder management skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CDMS, or CLMS certification preferred. Workday leave and case management experience and experience supporting multi-state organizations. Spanish/English bilingual skills.
