Environmental Compliance Project Manager - Waste Management Waste Management (WM) seeks an Environmental Compliance Project Manager to lead complex compliance initiatives across our waste management and environmental services operations. In this role, you will manage projects that ensure adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including waste, air, and water programs. You will coordinate audits, permits, and reporting; partner with operations, engineering, and safety teams; and drive corrective actions and sustainability improvements. Lead environmental compliance projects from scoping through implementation and closeout. Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental regulations to WM operations. Manage permits, reporting, and documentation for waste, air, and water programs. Conduct site assessments and compliance audits, recommending corrective actions. Coordinate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to implement solutions. Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and progress reports for stakeholders. Support incident investigations and risk assessments related to environmental issues. Train site personnel on compliance procedures and best practices. Partner with regulators, consultants, and customers as needed. Identify opportunities to improve sustainability, resource recovery, and compliance performance.
