In this role, you will develop our compliance program and ensure our company and employees follow all relevant rules. You will proactively audit our processes and advise on best practices. The ideal candidate is familiar with risk management and can confidently stand up for what is right. Responsibilities Create and maintain the company's legal compliance program Develop internal controls and ensure compliance Write company policies Audit current processes and recommend improvements Assess the compliance risk of current business activities Create a crisis management plan Provide employees with training on industry best practices Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's business goals Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, finance, or a related field Professional certification is preferred Previous experience as a Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager Previous experience in risk management and familiarity with industry practices Familiarity with legal requirements and controls (e.g., California DIR) Strong verbal and written communication skills High level of integrity and ethics
