We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive LIHTC Administrator to support the compliance and administrative functions of a growing affordable housing portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure properties remain compliant, resident files are accurate, and regulatory requirements are met. What You'll Do LIHTC Compliance Administration Process and review resident applications for program eligibility Complete initial certifications, annual recertifications, and interim recertifications Verify income, assets, employment, and other eligibility requirements Maintain resident files and ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations Review files for accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness Track compliance deadlines and reporting requirements Assist with state agency, investor, and internal compliance audits Administrative Support Maintain compliance records, reports, and documentation Prepare reports for management and ownership groups Monitor lease files and resident documentation Ensure data is accurately entered into property management systems Coordinate with onsite staff regarding file corrections and compliance issues Assist with policy updates and regulatory changes Portfolio Support Support multiple affordable housing communities as needed Partner with property managers and regional managers to resolve compliance concerns Provide guidance regarding LIHTC regulations and resident eligibility requirements Monitor occupancy and compliance trends Assist with special projects and affordable housing initiatives Qualifications Minimum 2 years of LIHTC compliance or affordable housing experience preferred Strong understanding of LIHTC regulations and compliance standards Experience processing certifications and recertifications Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, HOME, Section 8, or other affordable housing programs is a plus HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional), COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), TCS, or equivalent certification preferred Experience with Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio, MRI, or similar property management software preferred Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook Excellent organizational and time management abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy What We're Looking For LIHTC compliance knowledge Exceptional organization and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Professionalism, discretion, and accountability Team player with a customer-service mindset Why Join Our Team?
