Job Description

Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) is seeking a Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, LACERA. The successful candidate will oversee the Ethics and Compliance Office, with responsibility for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of ethics and compliance strategies, policies, and controls; this includes compliance with Code of Ethical Conduct, laws, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to public pension administration, benefits, healthcare, finance, and investments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
OPTION A :
A bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, legal studies, public administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university - AND- Five (5) years of responsible experience designing, developing, and implementing ethics and compliance programs or auditing and investigating ethics and compliance risks and concerns for a large public pension or multi-service public or private sector organization.
OPTION B
: Three (3) years' experience at the level of Deputy, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, LACERA. Application process for
