This position supports both subcontract billing and subcontract compliance functions across multiple projects and requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently, maintain accurate records, and collaborate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Key Responsibilities Subcontract Billings Audit and enter subcontract billings weekly with accuracy and in accordance with contractual requirements Review subcontract terms and agreements to evaluate billing implications Resolve billing discrepancies and follow up on incomplete information, clarifications, and documentation issues Prepare and process weekly check selections for payment Mail checks on a weekly basis Review and verify Certificates of Insurance to confirm compliance with contract requirements and validity of documentation Request and manage monthly payment releases for subcontractors and third-tier vendors across multiple projects Monitor and track preliminary notices Request and track sub-tier lists Maintain organized records of billings, compliance documentation, and subcontractor communications Request bonds and riders as needed and maintain related documentation Use billing and payment platforms such as Textura and GC Pay to manage workflows and records Partner with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and finance teams to resolve billing questions and issues Perform other duties as assigned Subcontract Compliance Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with labor requirements throughout the project lifecycle Implement and monitor risk management strategies to reduce labor-related issues Communicate with internal departments, subcontractors, and external agencies regarding labor compliance matters Process labor compliance documentation, including
DAS 140, DAS
142, Fringe Benefit Statements, apprentice status letters, monthly fringe payment reports, apprentice certificates, affidavits of completion, and skilled and trained workforce reports Download applicable wage determinations and establish appropriate wage rates and fringe benefits for new prevailing wage projects Address and resolve labor compliance issues in a timely manner Set clear labor compliance expectations with contractors at project startup Review public contracts for special labor requirements, including certified payroll, skilled labor, local hire, diversity requirements, and related stipulations Audit submitted documentation for accuracy and compliance and work directly with subcontractors to resolve findings Qualifications High school diploma required 4 or more years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing and/or construction industry preferred Working knowledge of certified payroll software such as LCP Tracker, eMars, eComply, Elation, or DIR Working knowledge of billing and release platforms such as Textura, GC Pay, or Procore Compensation The starting hourly base pay for this role is between $32.00 and $40.00 per hour.
