LP Job Summary:
This role is responsible for reviewing and validating US export-control classifications for products. The analyst will research product information, apply export regulations to determine appropriate classifications (ECCN or EAR99), and document their findings. This position offers a chance to develop specialized expertise in product classification within a global e-commerce and logistics setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and validate product export-control classifications. Research EAR and CCL for correct ECCN and EAR99 classifications. Evaluate product details to support classification decisions. Document classification rationale and research. Escalate complex classifications requiring further expertise.
Must-Have Skills:
Foundational knowledge of US export controls (EAR/ITAR). Working knowledge of the Commerce Control List and ECCN structure. Understanding of EAR99 classification criteria.
Industry Experience:
Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or international trade compliance is preferred for this role, particularly involving export controls and product classification.
