Job Description
ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to provide Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) within a California school district. This is a full-time opportunity supporting students whose social, emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs impact their ability to access their education. We are open to candidates from several clinical and school-based mental health backgrounds depending on credentialing and experience.
Position Details Pay:
$45-$60 per hour based on experience and credentialsHours:
37.5 hours per week Full-time, Monday-Friday Immediate start Contract through June 4, 2027 School-based ERMHS caseload Weekly paychecks Interviewing immediately Who We're Looking For We encourage qualified candidates from a variety of mental health backgrounds to apply, including: Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC) California PPS-credentialed School Psychologists California PPS-credentialed School Social Workers Associate-level clinicians such as APCC, AMFT, or ASW may be considered when appropriate supervision is available Final credential requirements will depend on the assignment and district requirements. ERMHS Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling to students receiving ERMHS Support students with social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs Develop and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with Special Education teams Monitor student progress toward mental health and IEP-related goals Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support when appropriate Consult with teachers, parents, school psychologists, and other service providers Maintain appropriate documentation, progress notes, and service records Support students in developing coping, self-regulation, communication, and social-emotional skills Experience That Stands Out Previous ERMHS experience is highly valued but not required for every candidate.
