Job Description
The HR Compliance & Risk Administrator is responsible for supporting HR compliance, risk management, and workplace safety initiatives to ensure adherence to federal, state, and company regulations. This role oversees risk-related administrative functions, supports leave administration as needed, maintains compliance records, conducts audits, and partners with internal departments to promote a safe, compliant, and well-governed workplace. The position provides a high level of customer service while minimizing organizational risk and ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures. - Coordinates employee work injuries, vehicle accidents, and company equipment incidents, ensuring timely reporting and documentation.
- Maintains compliance-related records, reports, policies, and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assists in conducting internal audits of HR processes, personnel files, safety records, and employment documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitors changes in employment laws and regulations and assists with implementing updates to policies, procedures, and practices.
- Identifies opportunities to minimize organizational risk and recommends improvements to workplace safety, compliance, and operational practices.
- Acts as a liaison between management, employees, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Coordinates and hosts OSHA/Safety Committee meetings and supports safety training initiatives and recognition programs.
- Assists with investigations involving workplace incidents, policy violations, and compliance-related matters. Leave & Workers' Compensation Administration
- Coordinates the administration and tracking of employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, CFRA, Workers' Compensation, ADA accommodations, and other protected leaves.
- Ensures required documentation, timelines, benefits coordination, and return-to-work processes are administered accurately and compliantly.
